A significant number of children, particularly minorities, children with disabilities, and older teens linger in foster care without achieving permanency. Achieving permanency is difficult for these children. Al-Hajj, Inc. wants to make a difference in their lives by establishing foster and adoptive homes.
Al-Hajj, Inc. partners with the Department of Human Resources and social service agencies to facilitate adoptions. In order to minimize the number of adoption disruptions, Al-Hajj, Inc. recruits, trains, and approves foster families who are interested in adopting.
