Regional Positions:
Administrative Assistant
Candidate must possess three to five years of clerical experience, two of which must have included supervision, organization, coordination, and performance of duties at a responsible level, excellent communication and administrative abilities, ability to perform difficult formatting, desktop publishing duties, PowerPoint and Excel.
Case Manager
Candidate must possess - at a minimum - a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Behavior Science field and two years of experience working directly with children and families.
Clinical Director
Candidate must possess Master's level of education in the counseling or human services field. Five (5) years of clinical or counseling experience, two (2) years supervisory experience, and the appropriate license for field of study.
Community Director
Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree from an accredited program in a Human Services related filed-specifically counseling, social work, or psychology; excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of community resources within the given county and metro area; a willingness to meet with families at convenient times and locations.
Family Therapist
Candidate must possess at the minimum a Masters Degree in Human Services related field. Two years of job direct service in a Human Service related field.
Human Resources Manager
Candidate should have a four-year degree. Additional class work in management courses, benefits and administration is desirable.
In-Home Support Worker
In-Home Support Workers empower individuals with disabilities by providing unconditional care, normalcy, self-empowerment, needs-driven intervention, and the development of community partnerships. Candidate must have at least one year of experience working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, childcare setting or working with developmentally disabled persons. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with full coverage auto insurance.
Licensed Bachelor Social Worker
Candidate must possess- at a minimum- a B.S. degree Social Work plus two years direct experience working with children and families. The individual should also possess / display the following: interpersonal skills, sound judgment, flexibility, commitment, and the ability to work with a team.
Licensed Graduate Social Worker
Candidate should have at a minimum a M. A. or M.S. degree in Social Work plus two years direct experience working with children and families. The individual should also possess / display the following: interpersonal skills, sound judgment, flexibility, commitment, teamwork, knowledge of behavior therapy and separation and loss issues.
Marketing Personnel
Candidate must possess the following characteristics: energetic, good verbal and written communication skills, creativity, positive attitude, organizational skills, self-motivation, honesty, and loyalty. The Marketing and Referral Coordinator must have knowledge of all components of Seraaj Family Homes, Inc.’s service delivery: Therapeutic Foster Care, Family Preservation, and Wrap-around Services. Marketing / Referral Coordinator should also have computer skills which include: Microsoft Word, Excel and other necessary programs capable of creating quality presentations and accurate reports. It is preferred that candidates have knowledge of Power Point. Candidates would be encouraged to complete GPS facilitator training.
Office Manager
Candidate should possess a minimum of two years administrative and supervisory experience. This individual should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. This individual should have proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and excellent data management skills. This individual should also have great leadership abilities. Candidate must be analytical, detail oriented, flexible and decisive.
Psychiatric Nurse
Candidate must possess one of the three:

At least 24 months of psychiatric nursing experience as a licensed practical nurse

An Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a state approved college or university and 12 months of psychiatric nursing experience as a registered nurse

A Master’s Degree in psychiatric and mental health nursing.
Continuous Quality Improvement Personnel
Candidate should be well trained – possessing a minimum of three years of experience in a clinical / human services field that offers an opportunity to gain a well-rounded background. Additional class work in problem-solving techniques is desirable. Quality Assurance personnel are required to read and understand quality system procedures and documents. This individual must have a working knowledge of the community and its resources and be able to understand and negotiate various systems and organizations such as public schools. This individual must have good customer service and communication skills.
Senior Manager
The Senior Manager should have a Masters from an accredited school in a Human Services related field with a minimum of two years in managerial experience.
Social Services Manager
MSW with clinical license in Maryland and DC. Some clinical experience as it relates to mental health treatment of children and families. Child welfare training /CFSA pre-service training (a plus).
Residential Positions:
Mental Health Worker
The Mental Health Worker must have experience working with children having complex behavior problems. For “Level 1”, this individual must possess a high school diploma and / or GED. For “Level 2”, this individual must possess a bachelor’s degree in a field of social science.
Early Intervention Positions:
Case Worker
Candidate must possess - at a minimum - a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Behavior Science field, Early Intervention training and two years of experience working directly with children and families in the field of Early Intervention.
Corporate Positions:
Accountant
The company accountant must have a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a minimum of three years accounting experience.
Corporate Accounts Payable Clerk
This individual will be responsible for executing a portion of the duties involved in the entire accounts payable scope.
Corporate Accounts Receivable Clerk
This individuals responsibilities will include: filing invoices, posting checks, researching unpaid invoices, and resubmitting unpaid claims.
Corporate Billing Clerk
This individual will work intensely with billing procedures for all counties. This individual will bill for services performed by case workers. Bill clerks must remain focused and possess the ability to locate and correct errors therefore ensuring quality billing procedures.
Corporate Data Entry Clerk
This individual will be responsible for reviewing clinical notes, entering properly documented notes, coaching persons submitting notes through written explanation of rejection, sorting and organizing clinical notes. This individual must maintain a working knowledge of all procedures pertinent to their job.
